On February 20, the Dawson College Lady Blues hockey team faced-off with an all male team from Radio Station 94.7 HITS at the Concordia University Arena. The exciting game resulted in a tied score and a generous cheque for BCAM.

On March 7, members of Women Act in Canadian Theatre staged a cabaret at Comedyworks in support of BCAM and Herstreet. This is the fifth year the actors have turned their talents towards raising funds in celebration of International Women's Day. The cabaret, a collection of comic monologues, readings, songs, and dances, made us laugh and warmed our hearts on a blustery March evening. Special thanks to the organizers for declaring it a smoke-free event.
